King Abdulaziz University has launched the 2026 edition of “Engineering and Architecture
Day,” organized by the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Architecture and Planning.
The event is held under the patronage of University President Dr. Tareef bin Youssef Alaama
and began on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the King Faisal Conference Center.

Held annually, the event connects opportunity providers, including sponsoring companies,
with youth seeking to develop their skills. During the opening, the university signed a
Memorandum of Understanding with SASO for Saudi Standards.

Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof. Mohammed bin Reda Kabli, toured the
accompanying exhibition, which featured leading companies and employment opportunities.
He also recognized the 40 participating companies.

Over four days, the event will feature a series of hackathons, panel discussions, workshops,
and scientific seminars.
All interested individuals are encouraged to attend the event, which runs from February 2 to
5, 2026.

The event also showcases innovative student projects that reflect the quality of the
university’s academic output and the support it provides to innovators. It encourages
students to launch entrepreneurial initiatives that address engineering challenges while
equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and professional insights needed for
advancement.
